Workshop on “ Human Trafficking and Ways of Best Protection against this Phenomenon”
As part of the activities of the project of “promoting awareness on human trafficking among migrant workers”, the National Center for Human Rights (JNCHR), organizes a training workshop entitled “Human Trafficking and Ways of Best Protection against this Phenomenon”. The said event will take place at the Al Tajamoat Industrial City, Sahab, Jordan on July 8, 2013.
The workshop aims to sensitize the migrant workers at Al Tajamoat Industrial City on human trafficking and the rights and the responsibilities of both the migrant and the national workers. Also the workshop is intended to familiarize the participants with the vulnerable groups that are most likely to become victims of human trafficking, and to offer information on the mechanisms available at the competent bodies for combating human trafficking and protecting its victims, as well as the efforts exerted and the procedures implemented within the anti-trafficking of persons framework.
