National Centre for Human Rights: the attack on the Jordanian Al-Midani Hospital is an unjustifiable crime and transgression.
Last night, Wednesday, November 15th, the Centre reviewed the statements issued by the official Jordanian Armed Forces spokesperson regarding the 7 injured personnel working in the Jordanian Al-Midani Hospital in Gaza.
The Centre holds the Israeli Occupation fully accountable for this assault, which poses a flagrant violation of articles (18, 20, 21) of the Fourth Geneva Convention. Under this obligation, the Israeli Occupation is required to cease attacks and assaults on any and all health facilities, medical personnel, ambulances, and rescue teams.
The Centre wishes a quick recovery to all the injured. At the same time, the Center acknowledges and commends the Arab Army's inherent determination, which has been instrumental in sustaining the operations of the Jordanian Hospital in Gaza and confronting the significant challenges that lie ahead, as well as perpetuating the hospital’s work, ensuring a consistent supply of necessary medical resources, in alignment with the decision of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
