Third Statement Regarding the "Twentieth House of Representatives" Elections Voting Stage 2024

The National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) team continued monitoring the parliamentary elections for the Twentieth House of Representatives and issued its third statement on the voting process. The NCHR recorded the following observations regarding the voting process:

Voter identification was verified through personal identification cards only, and 98.7% of the committee heads adhered to the official procedures of stamping the ballot papers with the election district seal.
Non-compliance with the identification procedure for veiled women, as per the prescribed mechanism, was recorded at 18.2%.
Incidents of violations of the secrecy of the vote, including public voting, loud voting, or photographing ballot papers, amounted to 23.1%.
The entry of unauthorized individuals into polling stations was recorded at 5.8%.
Objection forms were available for authorized individuals in 73% of the polling centers.
Priority in voting for people with disabilities and the elderly was recorded at 85.8%.
Public gatherings and events near polling centers were recorded at 37.5%.
Continued electoral campaigning in front of polling centers was noted at 20.9%.
The use of children to distribute promotional cards for certain lists reached 33.1%.

Photographing ballot papers in some polling stations in the following locations:
