Al-Qadi Receives a Copy of the Annual Report on the State of Human Rights in the Kingdom

Speaker of the House of Representatives Mazen Al-Qadi received on Sunday a copy of the 22nd Annual Report on the State of Human Rights in Jordan for 2025, during a meeting with Samar Al-Haj Hassan, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Centre for Human Rights, and Jamal Al-Shamayleh, Commissioner-General for Human Rights.

Al-Qadi affirmed that the House of Representatives gives priority to human rights and public freedoms in a manner that reflects the Kingdom’s efforts in this area and strengthens the human rights framework and the rule of law, in line with the Royal directives in this regard.

Al-Qadi said that the House of Representatives will give the Centre’s reports its full attention and that its relevant committees will review the recommendations and observations contained in the reports.

For her part, Al-Haj Hassan expressed the Centre’s appreciation for its relationship with the House of Representatives, particularly in advancing and implementing the recommendations contained in the Centre’s annual reports and incorporating them into the House’s legislative and oversight work.
