The Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Centre for Human Rights, Samar Al-Haj Hassan, and the Commissioner General for Human Rights, Jamal Al-Shamayleh, met this morning with His Excellency the Minister of Youth to enhance aspects of joint cooperation between the Ministry and the Centre in the areas of awareness, training, and empowering youth in civil, political, economic, and social rights.
During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Youth, mechanisms for cooperation in implementing training and educational programs within the framework of civil and political rights were discussed.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Adwan affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to empowering youth through raising awareness of rights and duties, the legislation governing public life, and programs stemming from the pillars of the National Youth Strategy in this field.
For her part, Al-Haj Hassan emphasized the importance of partnership with the Ministry in implementing training and awareness programs on laws and legislation, highlighting the Centre’s role in raising awareness of the values of rights and duties and in promoting the principles of human rights in the Kingdom.
