Discussion Session on the Outcomes and Recommendations of the Parliamentary Elections Monitoring Report in Aqaba Governorate

 

The National Centre for Human Rights organized a discussion session on the monitoring report of the parliamentary elections for the Twentieth House of Representatives.

 

During the session, which was moderated by Dr. Nahla Al-Momani, Commissioner for Protection and Head of the Elections Monitoring Team at the Centre, the Centre’s experience in monitoring parliamentary elections and the mechanisms it adopted were reviewed. Additionally, the session covered the outcomes and recommendations of the elections monitoring report and all its key aspects.

 

In this context, participants praised the neutrality and comprehensiveness of the Centre’s report and presented several recommendations aimed at achieving further progress in managing the electoral process while also enhancing individuals’ participation in public affairs.

 

It is worth noting that this discussion session included representatives from civil society, trade unions, relevant institutions, representatives from the All Jordan Youth Commission, human rights activists, and representatives from the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce.
