The National Center for Human Rights Concludes Training Course for Youth Initiative Members in Aqaba

Aqaba – The National Center for Human Rights (NCHR) concluded the penultimate training course in Aqaba Governorate today, as part of a series of courses targeting members of the Youth Imprints Initiative across various governorates of the Kingdom.
The two-day training course focused on several key topics, including the International Bill of Human Rights, fundamental human rights concepts, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).
The course also addressed the role of the National Center for Human Rights, its working mechanisms, mandate, and powers as stipulated under its governing law, along with other relevant topics.
The training was organized as part of the Center’s activities marking International Human Rights Day and within the framework of its role in raising awareness of human rights issues and promoting a culture of human rights among all segments of local communities.
It is worth noting that the Awareness and Training Department at the National Center for Human Rights had previously organized similar training courses in several governorates across the Kingdom.
