The delegation received briefings from the heads of electoral committees on voter turnout and the facilities provided by the Independent Election Commission (IEC) to enable election observers and journalists to carry out their duties, access polling and counting stations, and follow the electoral process and its results as they unfold.
The delegation was also briefed on the measures and mechanisms introduced by the Commission to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.
