The department works on promoting a human rights culture as a preventive measure to protect and enhance these rights through:

Designing and implementing national awareness and education campaigns and programs that align with the cultural context and prevailing traditions of society.

Designing and distributing brochures, informational guides, awareness posters, and periodicals.

Proposing curricula aimed at educating citizens about their rights, including issuing a specialized magazine.

Organizing training and capacity-building programs for various segments of society in government institutions, the private sector, civil society, and university and school students through (training courses, workshops, seminars, lectures, etc.).

Visiting shelters for victims of human trafficking to assess their conditions and the mechanisms for handling their cases.
Monitoring violations related to the right to work and working towards their resolution.
