The Centre extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy on the martyrdom of three members of the Public Security Directorate, who fell while performing their national duty in combating drugs, and who sacrificed their lives in defense of the الوطن and the rule of law.
In this context, the Centre affirms that pursuing and combating the scourge of drugs constitutes a direct threat to the human rights system, foremost among them the right to life, the right to health, and the right to community security, among others. It also emphasizes that this scourge threatens the future of coming generations and undermines national efforts aimed at achieving sustainable development, given its social, economic, and health impacts.
While the Centre extends its condolences to the families of the martyrs and to the broader Jordanian family, it stresses that confronting drugs is not merely a security task, but a comprehensive national and societal responsibility that requires collective and coordinated efforts to curb it.
